Dr. George Kessler, DO
Dr. George J. Kessler, DO, is an attending physician at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University campus and at Beth Israel Medical Center, a consultant at the Hospital for special Surgery, a clinical instructor in medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and the Mount Siani College of Medicine, and a clinical assistant professor at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Kessler received his DO from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and his bachelor’s degree from Long Island University. Dr. Kessler is a diplomate and member of the American Academy of Pain Management and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
Dr. Kessler’s honors include an Excellence in Teaching Award from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and recognition as a “Top Doctor in New York” by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals.
Dr. Kessler has published "The Bone Density Diet" (Ballantine Press) and "No More Knee Pain" (Berkley Press).
He has a private practice in holistic general medicine, complementary medicine, and non-pharmacological pain management in New York City.
Dr. Artemis Morris, ND
Dr. Artemis Morris is licensed and board certified in Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Morris completed her Naturopathic Doctorate at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. She also has a Masters in Acupuncture from Bastyr University, is a licensed Acupuncturist, and holds a Diploma from the NCCAOM.
Dr. Artemis is the director and founder of Revive Wellness Center, a multidisciplinary collaborative medical practice, based in Connecticut and Pennsylvania, and has served as the director of the holistic wellness center at Masonic Healthcare Center, the largest non-profit geriatric center in CT. Her specialties include women’s health care (PCOS, Endometriosis, Dysmenorrhea, etc.), fertility, Diabetes, nutrition, autoimmune disorders, and stress management.
Dr. Morris is devoted to research in natural medicine with a concentration in traditional medicinal and functional food. She is conducting ongoing clinical and ethnographic research on the Mediterranean Diet of Crete and medicinal plants and foods of Crete, which she began for her doctoral studies at the University of Lancaster, UK. She is now working on a book based on the Mediterranean Diet, and completed a clinical study on its effectiveness for the prevention of chronic disease. She has lectured on the Mediterranean Diet at Yale University and the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and enjoys presenting on various health topics.
Dr. Artemis is the coauthor and technical advisor for Anti-Inflammation Diet for Dummies, a book in the popular 'For Dummies' series. The book teaches how to eat in a way that reduces inflammation, which is the root cause for a number of medical conditions, including heart and cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, autoimmune disorders.
Dr. Marcellus Walker, MD
Dr. Marcellus Walker, MD, is the Clinical Lead Physician of Brooklyn’s Brownsville Multiservice Family Health Center and the Medical Director of the Eastern District of New York Counseling Services. He also has a wealth of management experience as the medical director of two substance abuse centers in downtown Brooklyn.
Dr. Walker is board certified in Internal Medicine AAHIVM. Dr. Walker received his medical degree from the University of Illinois as well as a master’s degree in applied psychology from the University of Santa Monica. Dr. Walker has a deep interest in and understanding of integrative medicine. He served as the Director of Integrative Medicine at the Brownsville Multiservice Family Health Center.
He completed a training program in Chinese herbal medicine and is a licensed acupuncturist, trained in multiple forms of acupuncture, including French Energetics, Chinese Scalp, Yamamoto Scalp, Japanese, Korean Hand, Tora Hara.
Christina Walker, RN, MA
Christina Walker, RN is a seasoned nurse and administrator with extensive patient care and administrative experience in both hospitals and clinics. She specializes in perioperative services administration and quality improvement, and has a reputation for developing harmonious and collaborative teams, for improving interdisciplinary and interdepartmental processes and systems that significantly improve patient care and safety.
Ms. Walker has worked at some of New York’s largest and most prestigious hospitals and medical practices. Over the course of her career she has focused on stress management, receiving certification from the Christine Schenk School of Applied Energy-Body Management and a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Santa Monica.
Ms. Walker received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of New York at Stonybrook and a master’s degree in Nursing Administration from New York University.
