What is Your Intention for 2025?
Intention is a very interesting phenomenon - it is not a goal or a purpose, but what we are going to do about our goals or our purpose.
It is in essence, what are we actually meaning to do.
What will you do with that list of new goals you really want to achieve? The stuff that did not get done last year that you are adamant will get done next year? Which is just one day away.
What is your intention for 2025? What do you want to achieve in your personal life, your work, in your relationships with friends and family.
That's what I have been thinking of during the holidays. What do I want to be? To become? To achieve?
It is a rather long list!
I have learned that when I actually have an intention to do something it means I will need to change a habit, a certain part of my thinking, and for sure my habits and routines.
For example. I decided a couple of years ago that I will have a robust exercising program, will do de-stressing activities more often (i.e., have a little more fun), meditate every day, and continually remember to "walk with the Divine" - which has been my maxim, or guiding light, since Seann passed three years ago.
To fulfill my goal of exercise (almost daily), I had to evolve and change - and we all know that changing habits means changing our attitudes, and that means changing how we think about exercise, and how we feel when we think about exercise, and replace with different thoughts.
It is for sure tedious.
Reality is - I absolutely love to exercise, to move my body, to sweat and strengthen. And yet I got out of the routine so had to get back in love with exercise. With what it does to my body and mind, how I am able to move in my daily life with more ease, maybe a bit more elegance.
My mind then becomes one with my body, it makes me happy. You do know that euphoric feeling.
Intending to do something different in my life can become tedious and frustrating. And at the same time, it invites me to rethink my whole life, because when we change on habit, it is like a house of cards. Other habits rise up, and then we have the decision of either changing another habit, and another, or, not.
That is the adventure of life - purposely intending what we actually want. Simple and difficult at the same time.
At BioImmersion we are excited about 2025. We intend to grow, evolve, and continue to lead and offer our knowledge and love.
Enjoy the New Year!
Yours as Always,
Dohrea
