Chromium and Glycemic Control for Type 2 Diabetes
A large systemic review by the scientific team of Omid Asbaghi in 2020 found:
- Chromium supplementation significantly reduced serum levels of fasting blood glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes.
- Chromium supplementation significantly reduced serum levels of insulin in patients with type 2 diabetes.
- Chromium supplementation significantly reduced hemoglobin A1C in patients with type 2 diabetes.
- Chromium supplementation significantly reduced HOMA-IR in patients with type 2 diabetes.
The dosage the researchers found in the review has a range between 50 to 1000 μg /day of chromium supplementation. The time of treatment is between 4 to 25 weeks to see a significant drop in insulin levels. Article
Enjoy!
Yours as always,

My Research: Peace and a word on Metaphysics
Metaphysics, as we have learned, is beyond this changeable world, it is about things that do not change. Our intent in learning about metaphysics is to figure out what is not changeable within Kant’s Laws of Freedom- and as first causes, or universal truths that do not change. Last year I wrote that Kant’s (1785) Categorical Imperative is futuristic and impressive: “act only on that maxim through which you can at the same time will that it should become a universal law” (KA 4: 421). Even in the midst of wars, political chaos, and authoritative rulers of the 18th century, and against the popularity of Hobbesian thesis of anarchy in the international system, Kant formulated the Categorical Imperative. The core intention for the supreme moral law is quite simple: “to realize freedom.” Freedom is one of these unchangeable laws, but why? |
