Great New Research into Cranberries and Pomegranate: It is Truly Exciting

There is nothing as rewarding and that fills me with happiness as the discovery of a new vein within a known field that has not been investigated. 

It is, if fact, thrilling. A new phenomenon to investigate, and possibly, as is in the case of new theories - to create. 

And there are so many undiscovered mysteries in our vast universe, and specifically for our topic, in the field of medicine, and more narrowly, in the field of holistic medicine. 

 I love it when I see the typical and known become new - research into Cranberries and Pomegranate which has positioned these two powerful fruits as excellent for bladder infections, UTI, kidney and prostate health, and now - newer research is digging deeply into Heart Health. 

Scientific teams such as Li et al. (just published in 2024) discuss cranberries and pomegranate and their excellent effect on glycemic and lipid profiles for cardiovascular health. 

And continuing with heart health, Rahn et al. in 2023 discovered that these amazing fruits of cranberries and pomegranate greatly supports lipid metabolism. 

In the same vein, Ellouze et al. also in 2023 found that these two fruits are important for glucose homeostasis. 

Another new view is the researchers of Ban et al. who discovered in 2023 that using pomegranate against Listeria innocua and E. coli is effective by suppressing and inhibiting their growth. 

And again, just this year in 2024:  for us who love to exercise hard, cranberries actually improve oxidative capacity of muscles (Parenteau et al., 2024). 

It is exciting, encouraging, and uplifting to discover how to 'repurpose' Cranberry Pomegranate
