The P-Diet? Lower Inflammatory Markers
Have you heard about the P-Diet and its power to lower inflammatory markers and thereby reverse our biological clock?
No, it is not the Paleo diet.
And - Yes, you have heard of it, many times, from Seann and in the past two years from me, except that we have never called it a P-Diet.
What is this diet all about? And does it really reverse biological aging?
As you have heard us teach: polyphenols and probiotics do reverse inflammatory markers that correspond to the aging mechanism (Meng et al., 2023) -- hence the P-Diet. Or, more accurately, double P diet.
Meng et al. published a recent research conducted for only 2 weeks utilizing a specific diet rich with polyphenols and probiotics with adults over the age of 50. Their inflammatory markers went down: interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-10, C-reactive protein, CAG-56, and lysine, uracil, and valine. (2023)
Adding to that Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium increased significantly, as well as butyrate and acetate.
The No 7 Systemic Booster was designed with exactly this purpose in mind, to lower inflammatory markers and increase production of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. It is also the reason we call it the New Longevity.
Longevity is the science and practice of lowering inflammation as a pathway to combat chronic illnesses. The diet is consistent with whole foods that are primarily plant based, including veggies, fruits, berries, nuts, seeds, legumes, and selected grains. All these foods have beautiful polyphenols and with the addition of fermented foods, you have a great P-Diet.
Enjoy!
Yours as always,
Dohrea

My Research: Peace
Often we think of moral principles as old religious beliefs that are enforced, and indeed, we do handle many so called moral codes that do not uphold the dignity of every human being, but separates people to different camps of 'being right' and 'being wrong'. Kant is ahead of this kind of limiting and dividing codes. To him, that is 'slavery' in every way, and Freedom is the ability to think for oneself and at the same time, living in harmony with others by continually "preserving the dignity of humanity in one's own person" (Lectures on Education (Pedagogy)). Why is this important? We chat about that in our next email. Remember, our goal is peace, everywhere, at all times. |
