Summer Protocols: Honeymoon, Hiking, Lazying Around Home, BBQ, and More
Summer is a wonderful time of the year; blue skies, hot temp (and hopefully, not too hot), light clothing, time off work or school, weddings, BBQs.
Let's start with something really happy and fun - honeymoon. My favorite protocol for couples in love and on honeymoon is quite simple, if it is close to home, just the No 7 to support a beautiful nutritional wholeness and the Cranberry Pomegranate to support bladder and prostate. Sex can bring about UTIs and Cran Pom, as we call it affectionately, is a powerful tool.
We do love to BBQ in the US! But there are some toxins such as VOCs from charcoal and wood that lead to pulmonary disease and possible carcinogenic effects (Gruber & Nikolas, 2024). There are also heavy metals (Pandey et al., 2009) and carcinogens from the meat (Dolan et al., 2021).
A protocol of Phyto Power, Supernatant, and Glucosinolates & Sulforaphaes supports the body with intense polyphenols, high antioxidants and liver detox.
We love to hike and explore, visit different beaches, walk along beautiful paths, and enjoy nature. Garlic and High ORAC are easy to pack and can do a multitude of things, from taking care of your microbiome, to protect the body's exposure to sun and elements with antioxidants (High ORAC), and ensure the body has a defense against bacteria, mold, and viruses (Garlic).
I love when I can just lazy around the house, do home projects- cleaning and organizing, in leisure. Enjoying lunch, dinner, or tea time with friends. Reading, exercising, listening to music, dancing - just being home and letting life happen through me.
At home, I do my typical full protocol, as I suggest for everyone. It is a perfect opportunity to adjust your protocol, to see a doctor that knows you well (yes, doctors need some nourishing ideas and protocols too), and letting your body rest and heal.
We discussed Travel in our last communication, and I suggest you go there again, in case you decided to explore a bit more.
Need a protocol for an occasion or a certain puzzling condition? Let us know so we can come alongside you in support.
Enjoy!
